Have you ever thought, does anybody care, do I matter to anyone. My friend you are priceless to God! Just think, God loved you so much that He sent His Son Jesus to come and redeem you, and take away your sins and punishment. 2 Corinthians 5:19-21 says “Know this, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses unto them; and has given unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. For He has made Jesus to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him." Realize that God loves you so much that He is not even holding your sins against you. John 3:16 says: For God so loved the whole world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. Jesus was the final sacrifice that took away your sins. Jesus’ purpose on earth was to pay for our sinand give eternal life and abundant life here.
Romans 5:17 says “For if by one man’s offence (Adam) death (the curse) reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.” I love Romans 8:31-32 “If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” Know this: God is not holding out on you. He has blessed you in some way. Every good thing is from God. Not every person in Jesus’ time was believing that He was the Messiah or the Son of God, but Jesus freely gave them healing, comfort, words of blessing, or whatever they needed. “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” (Hebrews 8:13). If you need something today God is listening for your cry. Just ask, He is reaching out to you.
How does a person receive eternal life from Jesus? Is it just a prayer? Is it based on good living? The Bible tells us very clearly that God looks at our hearts in 1 Samuel 16:7. Whenever Jesus was asked by anyone how to receive eternal life, He always wanted to know if they believed who he is. So to know there is a God, or know that Jesus came, died, and rose from the grave, or a mindless confession that He is Lord, is simply not what God is looking for. God is not impressed with head knowledge. The thing that God looks at is your heart. Jesus Himself came preaching repentance. Repentance is not confessing all your sins,or giving up your sin. Repentance is simply choosing to change what you believe. It is simply turning away from your own efforts to please God, to believing that coming to Jesus pleases God. Romans 3:10 says: All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. My Friend, the ten commandments condemn all of us to live under a curse, and receive eternal judgment. Believe that Jesus has paid the ransom for your sin and the curse of sin, that He is alive, and God has exalted Him as Lord of all. When you speak with your mouth what you believe in your heart, that Jesus is your Lord, then you are born again by the Spirit of God. Hallelujah!
God is so good! The only sin recognized by God is the sin of unbelief. Jesus said in John 16:8-9 “And when He (the Holy Spirit) is come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on Me;” In other words, Jesus said that the sin of the world is their unbelief in Him.
Sooner or later you will believe and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Philippians 2:11 tells us “And that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” If you make Jesus your Lord right now, you will receive eternal life and the gift of being right with God, never to be condemned again. Bring your emptiness to Jesus’ fullness so that He can fill you with eternal life, as well as every good gift in Christ Jesus. If you believe the message you just read, put your belief into words as Romans 10:9 tells us "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth that Jesus is Lord, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." You can pray something like this:
Father in heaven, I believe that Jesus is the sinless Son of God, who came to earth through a virgin birth. He died a criminal’s death on the cross for me, and I believe that you raised up Jesus on the third day. I believe in my heart and confess now that Jesus is Lord. Jesus, take my life and do something with it. Father, thank you for making me your child, and that You will never leave me nor forsake me; in Jesus’ name. Amen!
